Thurrock District is a Scout District in South West Essex, home to over a thousand Members aged 6 upwards.

The District covers the majority of the Thurrock Borough, with the exception of Stanford-le-Hope, Corringham, Horndon-on-the-Hill and Fobbing which are covered by Stanford-le-Hope Scout District.

The District is formed of 13 Scout Groups, 3 Explorer Units, 4 Active Support Units, a Scout Network and owns 2 campsites, Condovers and Cherrywood. The District also performs their Gang Show, Stride On, every year.
