After taking a break in 2014, the District Cub Games competition returned this year with 18 packs sending teams to enjoy an afternoon of board and other games.
With games such as
Steve Cootes, lead volunteer for Cubs in Thurrock, thought the afternoon was an enjoyable one: “The afternoon was good fun and there was a great atmosphere. It was great to see the teams discussing tactics and what moves to make next.“
After all the points from the day were totalled, it was Thameside Orion who were victorious with 1st Ockendon second and 7th Grays Cromwell third.
Many thanks have to go to Aveley, 2nd Corringham and Orsett and Bulphan Leopards who organised the event, along with the Leaders who helped on the day.
More photos from the afternoon can be found in our Gallery.
