Hammond Hall in East Tilbury yet again played host to the event where 3 Cubs from each pack team up to see who is the brightest of the bunch.
Alongside rounds on music, Scouting, history and sport there was also various Disney rounds, with a round on anagrams and some Disney themed marathon rounds.
“The Cubs impressed us Leaders with their display of knowledge, a fact reflected in the scoring with many teams on half a point between each other. Well done to all who entered.” commented Steve Cootes, lead volunteer for Cubs in Thurrock.
The final standings were extremely close, but Orsett and Bulphan Tigers came away winners with Orsett and Bulphan Leopards second and Belhus Park third.
Many thanks go to Chafford and East Tilbury Cubs for organising the event, all the leaders who helped out and especially to Wendy and Roy for keeping the Leaders and Cubs refreshed with drinks all afternoon.
