We will be receiving regular updates from the group during their trip which we will be posting here as we receive them. To keep up with each update, like our Facebook Page or follow our Twitter account to be informed when new updates are live (links are at the top of the page). We will also be sharing any photos or videos we receive there as well.

Expedition Updates

Wednesday 13th January 2016

There’s been lots going on since the last update! After seeing in 2016 on the banks of the harbour in Sydney, a number of the group then took on the challenge of climbing the Harbour Bridge and experiencing the spectacular views across the whole of the city.

It was then on to the main event of the trip: the 24th Australian Jamboree at Cataract Scout Park! The group joined over 11,000 others at the campsite for 10 days of fun, excitement and loads of activities. For the International Night they had the crowd singing and dancing along to “Big Fish, Little Fish” and a song about fish was quite appropriate as there has been 64 Olympic Swimming pool’s worth of rainfall on the site during the Jamboree!

The group are now onto the final part of their trip, Cairns.

Thursday 31st December 2015

It’s been a fun few days in Hong Kong for the group; visiting Ocean Park and a night market, experiencing a light show at the harbour, sampling every type of transport in the city and even tackling the challenge of eating Chinese food with chopsticks. The group also experienced the culture of the city when they took a cable car ride to Hung Sing temple and it’s big Buddha.

Next stop is Sydney and a very special New Year for everyone!

Sunday 27th December 2015

The group have landed in Hong Kong and are now settling in to their hotel. They spread a little Christmas spirit as they came through Hong Kong Airport as you can see below!

The group will now spend a few days experiencing Hong Kong before flying on to Sydney on the 30th.
