Thameside Beavers enjoy a wild weekend in Kent

17th December 2015
In early September, Thameside Carina Beavers enjoyed a fun weekend at Port Lympne Wildlife Park in Kent.

The 16 Beavers spent two days exploring the park, meeting lots of animals and enjoying a Safari experience. They also spent the night in the camping pods on site, sleeping only 100 feet away from the lion and tiger enclosures.

All the Beavers said they had a fantastic time and loved every minute of their zoo adventure.” said Gary Barnfather, one of the Leaders. “The Beavers cooked their own dinners on BBQs (with a little help from a leader) and we could hear the lions and tigers growling all evening.
