Orsett and Bulphan Tigers enjoy Christmas sleepover

23rd February 2017
In January, Orsett and Bulphan Tigers Cubs enjoyed their annual Christmas Sleepover at their Headquarters.

The sleepover kicked off with a trip to Base Jump in Rayleigh where both the young people and adults enjoyed the trampolines, even though Akela and Baggi got stuck in the foam pit.

A delicious Christmas Dinner back at the hall followed which was cooked by two parents, before it was time for the Tigers Crystal Maze. The young people were split into five teams and each Cub had to complete a challenge or get ‘locked in’. The winning team then entered the Dome to try and become Champions. All of the young people received a medal.

The evening was finished with some pizza and bingo, a visit from Santa where each of the Cubs received an annual and finally settling down to watch Mrs Doubtfire which the Cubs had chosen to watch.

The next morning, after breakfast, the Cubs enjoyed some games and craft activities before packing up and getting ready to leave.

All the Cubs had a fabulous time and this was a special camp for some of the Cubs as they had never been to a sleepover before so they earned their first Nights Away badge.

Fynn, one of the Cubs, said “I rate this camp 10 out of 10 because this is the best camp I have ever been on as a Cub, It was awesome.
